NSV with job search
I just took an offer yesterday for a new job that's going to net me a lot - financially and professionally - and I'm sure I aced the interviews in part because, well, I'm super smart, but also because I wore comfortable interview-appropriate outfits and I therefore felt comfortable, not like an overstuffed pork bun. I know that people see fat (obese) people with a fair amount of negative judgement - it's awful but it's true and just part of human nature. I am RELIEVED that the first thing people may be thinking when they see me is NOT going to be "Oh man - another fatty".
I need to upgrade my wardrobe a little for this job and it's so awesome to be able to walk into Macy's and manage to find a few things in the petite department!

I have a friend who is a personal shopper at Macy's here -- and from the sound of her work, you might like working with a personal shopper there! They know what's on sale, and will work to find clothes that fit you in your price range.
If you use the personal shopper (it's free), let me know how it works out!

That is a double awesome! Congratualtions on your new position!
