I am definitely NOT a light-weight, but this happens in lots of people losing weight rapidly-not just the light-weights. Especially the bad breath. I had a post surgery friend of mine (who is also a heavy weight) ask me when I was about a month out about my breath, which she was experiencing problems with, but I wasn't. I was like "Nooooo! No one has mentioned it", and I hadn't noticed. Then a few weeks later, BAM! There it was. Altoids and Listerine strips!! God bless their inventors!!! Haven't had any complaints about BO. I have noticed some gassy moments since surgery though. That don't smell too good.

While I was in the rapid weight loss phase, my breath was disgusting.  It has not been an issue for several months.  The one permanent change is BO.  Like the others have mentioned, I never had a BO problem preop. Also, like one other poster, the BO is bad only under one arm.  The other arm has no smell whatsoever.  I changed to Secret Clinical Strength and no longer have any problems.
