First go at eating out went well!
I had a really interesting first taste, if you will, of eating out last night. I unexpectedly had to take my truck in to get a new battery and I realized it had been over 6 hours since I ate (I have NO hunger pangs... AT ALL) so I stroll in the little strip mall Pep Boys is in and found a Subway. It took 10 minutes to finally pick something that my new stomach could tolerate, that wasn't really high in sugar, fat, or simple carbs. The only thing on the menu I could eat? An egg white sandwich with a slice of swiss and a couple slices of tomatoes toasted up. I couldn't eat the flatbread, but I was so full and actually very satisfied by its contents.
I used to think weight loss surgery was a cop out... I realize now how big of a commitment it really is and there's nothing easy about this!
