It works great to keep your liquids hot, tea,coffee,soups etc. If you use a small plate it will keep your food hot as well, my wife uses it for her meals. She also has one at work to use.

Thanks for the link, I'm going to order one now. I'm pre-op and food temp has been a concern of mine. As ive been trying to practice chewing more and eating slower.I realized that I eat my food quickly because I like it very hot.
