NSVs

Heya folks. I survived the election. I didn't think I would. I'm so exhausted but vacation starts Saturday. Woot!

Anyway, a few things have happened over the last week.

1) I put on my boots which I had to get at a big girl store b/c my calves were too big last year and I could fit my whole hand down the mouth of the boot now! Crazy!

2) I bought my fist pair of skinny jeans. Size 11 in juniors. hehe. You know, so I can wear them with the boots hehe.

3) Tried on some "goal clothes" I got from a resale shop and I fit into a size 8 pair of Ann Taylor slacks! What? Single digits baby!

Hubby has been making me buy a lot more clothes and I'm getting totally addicted. I really never realized how limited I was shopping in one tiny section of the stores. I better slow down. May have found that transfer addiction :)

"Hubby has been making me buy a lot more clothes" Girl, have your husband give mine a call! I have to twist his arm to buy anything somewhere other than the Salvation army!

That is so great that you buttoned a single digit pair of pants. I can't wait until that happens. Congrats to you!!!

haha. He is so good about all of it. He says I've worked hard and I deserve to feel good. I had to buy all new shirts. I do go to consignment shops but not usually thrift stores even though I'm not opposed to it.

Awesome!! That is what I am looking forward to as well. Like you, I always had to stick to the "plus size" or Woman's side...ugh, boring! My hubby says he will clean out my closet and take me shopping...yay!! I do have some favorite blouses that I will have to eventually stop wearing but in the meantime I will wear them until they start looking reaaalllly big. My surgery is scheduled for November 28, so I still have a couple of weeks to enjoy my old clothes, even though it seems so redundant!
