You can add me on myfitnesspal - wildcatnyc

since about 1 week out I've gotten more than 70g protein, less than 40 carbs and between 600-800 cals.

Pin the last week, my doctor wants me to be getting 100g, so my calories have been a little higher, but still not more than 800.

I find for me the best way to kick the protein into range...Isopure ( clear  protein drink)= under 100 cal and 40 G protein for 20 oz...or New Whey protein bullets...42 oz protein. i dilute with water and ice and sip all day ( except at meals) and add this with my dense protein of egg, chicken, tuna, lean beef...I exceed my goals in protein. These drinks also fit my lifestyle...as the ice melts, it dilutes the drinks further so they don't make me feel dehydrated/dry.

Good luck in choosing from all the super ideas everyone has given you!!! Where else can you ask a question...and get more suggestions than you can know what to do with!

I thought the protein in New Whey protein bullets was a type of protein that our bodies can't use.

They actually advertise the NEW Whey here on OH at the top of the page...it's a rotating ad ...

I live in New England and get the New Whey at Stop& Shop and GNC...I also get the Isopure at GNC.

I realize they advertise here.  I was told by the vets that it isn't they kind we can use.  Maybe Alison or one of them will tell us why.

All Plans are different...my surgeon and NUT love the New Whey...and it works well with me. I just came from my NUT appointment, She has them on her desk and gives them as trials to newbies. She has this strange scale that doesn't just weigh you...but calculates lean mass loss vs fat loss to make sure you are not losing muscle...and I'm losing fat...so this product works well for me and my plan. I can't speak for info anyone else has...just me in my own world.
