Things I am still doing poorly
I finally nailed the water thing. I am getting 64oz or more each day. I am still going over my carbs (I was trying ratchet up my fiber). I still eat too fast. I still don't chew well enough. I still take one or two more bites than I should. I just can't seem to figure out the feeling right before I am full. Unfortunately its not always the same volume of food that causes it. I am still not exercising like I should. I have been working two jobs most of this year and I need to figure out how to squeeze an hour in each day while still making my clients happy.
I guess I still have some work to do.
Progress not perfection, right?
I'm still working on the "one bite too many" thing. I'm also very bad about drinking a small can ov V8 every day - I'm not doing it. I love V8 but I forget to pack it for lunch and then dinner comes and I have to get some protein, which is usually chicken, which is really filling for me, so no room for V8.
Otherwise I think we're doing okay.
Aight...... I been hard on you...... but I gotta give you props for this post......
Your really coming around to figuring this thing out..... without the guidance of proper aftercare, your finding it on your own....
A couple of tips:
- Looking for "Full"....... Not good. Eating till full is how we got fat. Eat fixed/measured amounts of food that is "Under" your capacity is the way to go. No getting sick and your preserving your restriction for the long term when your really going to need it.
I could never figure out how eating till full eaters met their meal or daily numbers????
Eating till satisfied on the "under eating" concept will get you far and a much needed skill for long term weight maintenance.
- Exercise..... sure gyms and such are a good thing..... but they are only good if you go.... and really bad when you stop going....and in most cases you will stop going. I lost 200lbs. by walking as my main form of exercise mixed in with bicycle and home treadmill. During the winter I go to Costco sometimes and fill up a a flat cart with 4-500lbs. of water and soda and pu**** around for a half hour.... than unload it.....buy my cheese and vitamins and I'm good.

I totally know your trying to eat to much.... not saying everyone is the same cause I know better than that..... but, just to give you an idea... at 6 weeks out I was eating a half of a scrambled egg......
Another tip to not going over the "edge"
Eat slow..... and progressively slower and smaller bites towards the end......

I really am not. I measure out about a half a cup of food and what I am talking about for example is say lentils. Half a cup works out well, I don't get that "I just ate one bite too many" feeling. But last night I had garlic shrimp. Same half cup and about 3/4 of the way through I got that one bite too many feeling. So what I need to sort of figure out is what amount of which foods cause this.
Half a scrambled egg is pretty good. I eat a bit more than that but only 1 egg and that is the limit for me. Maybe I will cut it to a half. How did you get your protein in at only half an egg?
I see what you are saying about going over the edge. The edge is a bit of a moving target depending on the food.
Great advice on the eat slow and progressively smaller bites, I like that, great tool.
So one last question and I will leave you alone: With the under eating your sleeve how did you get all your protein in? I was trying to focus on whole food proteins but realized this week I can't do it without a shake. Which protein shakes did you use?
Ok guess that was two questions. Thanks for the tips and advice
