Coffee and protein powder....
I use protein coffee a couple times a week as a delicious treat. You can avoid most of the clumping. Make your coffee. In a separate glass/cup/shaker, mix your protein powder with some liquid. I usually use about 1/3 cup of almond milk with vanilla powder. Shake or stir it very well making sure the powder is mixed. Then spoon some of the hot coffee into the milk mix and temper it. That brings the temperature up just enough. Then you can slowly pour all of that into the rest of the coffee and -- voila -- hopefully you'll have "almost" clump free coffee. And that acts as my creamer.
I have been using the Atkins Carmel Cafe shake (RTD) as my creamer. Maybe 1/3 Shake and the rest coffee. It is delicious. I have to heat it up after I mix together because it's not hot enough. LOVE IT. I only drink 1 cup. I thought I was going to miss coffee so much. I used to drinks 3 cups a day, but now all I need is 1. So happy I found this.
