Will a sinus infection cause surgery to be postponed?

I had sinus/allergy problems so bad the weekend before my surgery that I lost my voice.  They didn't seem to be concerned too much when my surgery came about on Tues.  They said it was no big deal.  The only issue I had was that I had horrible drainage the day after surgery and it made me so nauseous that I vomited everytime I drank anything.  They treated it with two anti nausea meds and I was fine the next day.  No more issues with anything.  Surgery and Post op was fine. 

It depends on the Dr. Possibly. 

My opinion: I think you will be fine. My doc was more concerned with colds. I have very sensitive sinuses and get clogged up very easily. They said that I would be fine. If I had a cold then they would postpone to avoid pneumonia.
