Had surgery Dec.3. Feling great except for pain across my upper back...kinda like you've been sitting at the computer too long. Is this just gas? Anything I can do for this. Everything else couldn't be better. Even had a large hiatal hernia repaired and still no pain...except for my back. Suggestions please.

Never dreamed that I could feel this good about myself again.  Looking forward to many healthy years now.

I had shoulder and back discomfort after surgery. I tried Gas-X strips after I got home and they helped alot. I also walked a lot after I got home and that helped dissipate the gas. If it doesn't go away after a couple of days I'd call your doctors office just to check with them. Congratulations on doing good!

My back hurt after surgery as well but mine was muscle pain from having to utilize other muscle to hold up by body since I wasn't using my abdominal muscles. I put a towel in the dryer to make it really hot and put that on my back and it helped to relax the muscles and make them feel better.  Hope this helps!
