I thought this was a pretty good clip about a huge success story *****mains a success many years after his surgery:

he does good with his weight but quite frankly, Al Roker was one of the reasons I refused to have GBP...   he looks HORRIBLE...I know he is older and has aged a bit but even when he first started to lose his face/skin took a hard hit...

Yeah but that would have happened with VSG too. Some people's skin does not retract very well. He probably should have a face/body lift. He still sort of looks fat to me, not sure if that is just his skin distribution or what but I don't think he looks healthy. Its also hard to say just seeing him on TV. He may look much better in person.

That did sound a bit crass. I did not mean to say he should. I should have said I would have in his position. Meaning I think he looks the way he does because of loose skin. I wasn't trying to be rude.

I thought that was a pretty awesome interview.  He even talked about his gain.  I see him often as his kid goes to school on my work block and I was always curious but it is not something you ask about :)

The coolest thing was seeing Dr. Kurian and Dr. Roslin (my doc) in the background working on him during his bypass.

No skipping the work every single day for the rest of our lives.  I think that is the problem with people re-gaining with the Sleeve and wanting revisions - they just go with what their sleeves do for them when it is new then it matures and they haven't done the work.

Thanks Keith for your always refreshing posts.

Best,

Leila

I have to say I think Mr. Roker looks pretty good. His arms are a whole lot less flabby than mine! mail

Also, I have to applaud him for using the same little blender I use, too. Keep on trucking, Al!
