I'm sure these are "VSG friendly" as in "they won't cause you much restriction at all" since they're protein-low.

They have more carbs and fat then protein because they're cookies.

I wouldn't eat these now in maintenance, and I certainly wouldn't eat them during a weight-loss phase.  Eating cookies, sweets, and deserts don't help us get to goal.

I can't blame you or anyone for getting excited about a lower carb cookie.....

In my surgeons program it is encouraged to get off of cookies/cake simulated or otherwise.......

These are things that are better looked at after your well into maintenance.......

I am off cookies. I ate hummus all night tonight.

Nutritional Information per low-carb cookie: Calories:  68,  Carbohydrates:  3.3 g, Fiber: 1 g,   Net Carbohydrates:  2.2g,  Protein:  1g, Fat: 1.4g

Stats don't add up! As presented it should be a 30 calorie cookie.

Okay, but sorry! Who the heck wants to MAKE the cookies? I was thinking Girl Scouts actually made a healthy cookie.

But seriously, cookies not a good thing until you're solid in maintenance. And take it from me, cookies are demons. They are my personal gateway drug. Be careful with any cookie - it could be your undoing. (Not directed at Keith, but said to all! )

Keith, you make me laugh.  You are the most persistently anti rule follower that I have ever met. You are always looking for a new way.  The good news; you find your way and it seems to work for you just fine.

No, I would not have eaten those, but keep looking, researching and finding what works best for you.  :)

I am not making these nor would I eat them. I was ask for the link and I posted it. If I were going to eat a cookie I would just eat the real deal and make it fit. Not sure what rules I am breaking. I do what i am supposed to do. I eat protein first. I log what I eat. I drink plenty of water and I exercise 5 to 6 times a week. If I ever have a weak moment and I want something sweet can you really argue that eating a cookie made with zero carb sweetener and nut flour is a bad thing? It is Girl Scout cookie time they are everywhere. If I have saved someone on here from eating a box of Girl Scout cookies and they eat these instead I have saved them from themselves.

The reason Girl Scout cookies are so tempting is because they bring back such sweet food memories. I used to sell them!

I have been on a diet during cookie season before, but this year, being sleeved, I am mourning the loss of them. Sigh.
