Oh the fro days. I think the Asian Fro is better than the JewFro one of my friends had back then. I have the straightest hair so when everyone else was going 'natural', I had to get a poodle perm to keep up!

Your amazing great job. Love that last picture reminds me of Miami Vice. 

LOVE the "new"one of you in high school--I must say, you looked cool then and even cooler now! Do you still have that camera? My DH was a professional photographer for a while and has/had quite a nice collection of "antiques" too!

I don't have that one anymore......

But I do have most my film cameras.... I think I waited to long to sell the stuff cause I was one of the last ones to switch over to digital..... when I looked into selling some stuff it was so devalued.... I just kept most of it cause I had a bloody fortune tied up into it and I'd rather display it as "art" rather than owning a Ming Vase....... I'm more into design and form and function art than popular art....

So, yes.... tell hubs I have about  8 Hasselblads, 30 or 40 older Nikon F's (started collecting those when I heard the Japanese were buying them back) and a few Sinar view cameras.......4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 and a complete pro darkroom set-up I've been saving for some kind of illusion of what I think part of my retirement life is gonna look like.......

Someday, I'll get the two of you together--you would have much to discuss about how photography/film has changed over the years. David (my DH) is the oldest brother in his family and got his official "professional" start as a combat photographer in Vietnam (He now works at IDEO--do you know this design firm?)..his next brother down is a film editor--started out at the long defunct One Pass in SF and is now the film editor of the new Disney/Johnny Depp movie, Lone Ranger. The youngest brother does compositing/retouching (owner of Bonus Arts in LA and, wow, THAT industry has sure changed as well with computing power!). So they're ALL into it, lol!

Um, I just take pictures with my iPhone. Honestly, so does my husband these days!! I keep showing him your food pics and he is always SO blown away because I gather that no matter what the technology, taking appetizing pics of food is HARD!
