hungry
Just keep drinking water or a no-cal drink like Crystal light...it's hard but you can do it!! the only way i got through was to map out my day. Start with a protein shake, then sugar free jello (if your allowed), water, water water, Soup for lunch, no junks, water water water, protein shake, water, soup for dinner and maybe a protein shake for a snack at night. Now of course follow your surgeons guidelines but always have a water bottle in your hand. You'll want to build up your protein prior to surgery, it will help with healing. You got this!!
Sugar free popsicles help too!
Fluid keeps you full. We've ALL been through it, and we ALL feel your pain.
You NEED to do this to shrink you liver to make surgery easier and problem free.
Another test - head hunger vs. real hunger - go do something for 15 minutes (and drink water) - then if you still hungry - it is real, if not - it was your head messing with you - this happens a LOT after surgery.....
