So this is a dumb question I am sure. I plan on attempting a scrambled egg tomorrow for my first meal on puree stage. Does scrambled egg have to be purred after it is scrambled?

For me I just chewed it. I had my first scrambled egg at a diner with cheese. It was deli**** took me like 25 minutes to eat about 10 bites but it worked and went down okay. It felt a little rough at first, so I kept it SLOW and chewed it until it was nasty mushy mess in my mouth.

My plan wouldn't allow me to have eggs until after 3 months post op. I asked why this was. My nut told me it was because eggs are a binding food and used to fluff as well. So they would also fluff more in my stomach. Everyone is different. It took me a LONG time to tolerate eggs again. My sleeve hated them and put me in agony. I eat eggs all of the time now. But like this morning...I only had half of a scrambled egg because my sleeve hated it today. Every day is different with my sleeve I swear. I still love it though. You can give it a try, just make them kind of wet. Or maybe try and over easy egg or poached egg, those were easier for me to handle than scrambled in the beginning. Good luck! :]

I'm 4 weeks out and I never had a problem with eggs since 2 weeks out and I just chewed them well. I love frying one over easy and then mushing it all together. Yum!

Chew it well and don't overcook it. I found, especially in the beginning, that dry foods are very hard to tolerate.

Enjoy!
