If everything goes ok, I am scheduled for surgery 3 weeks from tomorrow.  I know this isn't a long time, I am just anxious to get closer!  I have started stocking up on my supplies for post-op, ordered and received cute and comfy pj's and a robe to bring to the hospital.  I am sure it will feel more "real" next week when I start my pre-op diet.  I think my anxiety is still because this date is tentative until all my results are in & we get the approval from the insurance company.

I keep reading all of your posts and it is so exciting watching the newbies crossing over!  I am learning so much from them, and of course from the vets too.

I have my psych eval tonight....here's hoping they don't think I"m too wacky for surgery lol!

I hope the three weeks fly by for you! I know it seemed like a long time to me, I just wanted to get it over with so to speak, ready to start my 'new life.' I love that there is such a wealth of information and personal experiences here, and you can find answers to questions you didn't even know you had. :)

My psych eval was kind of strange. It seemed like there were several questions that they asked me nearly word for word, a couple of times. I even asked, didn't you just ask me that? As if it was a trick question or something. Good luck with it, and don't be too anxious.

Oh my goodness...that is pretty strange!  The sleep study freaked me out a little too...I kept waiting for the guy to run in and smack a mask on over my face while I was sleeping (which he didn't thank God!).  Thanks for the support :)
