Great job, thanks for the Trader Joe tip!!!  We have one within walking distance and I haven't been in there since surgery.  I'll have to go check it out with my post-op eyes. I totally get what you mean by adjusting to your new normal.

Michelle,

Don't be discouraged- you're doing the damn thing. I stalled for 2.5 weeks & gained 9 lbs and I'm only 6 weeks out. I looked through your food diary & you're doing great BUT (yes a but) you've got to drink more water & lots of it. It's hard, I know.
I went out & bought a few 24 oz water bottles and I start drinking my water at 7 in the morning until 1 or 2am. I give myself 2 hours to get in 24 oz of water & I make sure I drink at least 5 full 24 oz bottles per day. I'd like to get up to 8 bottles per day because water is key.

Best Wishes,
Hilary

Don't worry and keep your chin up!! I did the EXACT same thing. I lost even less than you at the time you are but now I am at 7 weeks out and have lost a total of 41 pounds... 26.2 since surgery. It will start again as long as you keep doing what you're doing. Get in the protein and water!! 18... Way to go!!

Until I was sleeved I never believed or understood how critical water is for weight loss.  \

While I am at work my computer "dings" every freakin' 10 minutes to remind me to take a sip. When I am NOT at work my CELLPHONE dings every 10 minutes to remind me (it's an app called Timers4Me).

This is how I get OVER my 64 oz per day.

Besides being critical for weight loss it is absolutely critical to avoid constipation.
