Scared

Surgery date is the 29th. I am scared! I have support from my husband which helps but I have never had any health issues so this is scary for me. I have had 2
c-sections but that has been the only hospital visits for me. Is anyone else as scared as I am?

Started on the pre-op week of liquids any suggestions? It's gonna be a long week.

I'm terrified.  I am hoping to have surgery in June and I've never had any kind of surgery beyond having my wisdom teeth pulled.  You're not alone in your fear!

I am scheduled for April 24 and I am very excited.  Although I am personally not nervous at all, I know it is most common for people  to be scared.  I had a partial hysterectomy a few years ago and recuperated quite well.  I feel very prepared and now I am just anxious for this journey to get started.  I have someone close to me who had this surgery and they are doing great; so I guess that is making me more confident in myself. Good luck and try not to be scared.  You will do great!

It's normal to be scared or nervous.  I was terrified.  The only surgery I'd had was oral surgery for my wisdom teeth, and I didn't have comorbitities.  You'll get through it, and you will be so happy you did.  Good luck!
