What Have You Done for You Today?

Today I am reflecting on my donuts fiasco of yesterday.  Realizing some things about myself that I won't allow to deter me, ie learning from my past and moving forward.  Today I will be low carbing and I have set my goal for 30 carbs.  Today I will be hitting the treadmill and doing my 4.5 miles.  Today I will honor myself in my choices and my words and uplift myself and release myself from myself.

Outstanding! The most important thing is that you didn't get up today and say "Well I had a donut yesterday, one more won't hurt me today." You got right back up on the bike and you are pedalling away! Don't spend too much time reflecting on it. Realize that this is not a journey without bumps in the road, take them in stride. Realize its better if you don't hit EVERY bump in the road, get comfortable in your seat and get on down the road!

Well, this happened last night but I bought a VA VA VOOM dress for an upcoming wedding.  I had my girlfriend's voice in my head whispering "try something tighter" and BOY do my curves SHOW.  I love it and I love that it was a size 12 and still a tiny bit loose on top hehe.

Today, I'm having a protein shake and getting to kickboxing for a second night this week.  I WILL lose these 18lbs and get to my goal!

Today I'm reorganizing my office and finishing all of my filing so I can find things in a snap.  I'm also cooking the kids' dinner early so I'm not trying to do three things AND get the younger through homework all at the same time, which frazzles me. 

Today I'm all about keeping it coooool.

It's my home office, so it's all about me.  :)  I also jettisoned cooking dinner and will get take-out for the kids.  Younger is a special-ed kid, so his homework session is non-negotiable, but at least I don't have to run back and forth like a chicken w/ no head during homework time like I so often do. 

I already have my eating, fluids, vitamins and exercise in check, which are all majorly about me.  :)

I said NO to brininging a few taco chips to work for lunch. Instead I put my taco/chili meat and cheese with lettuce! It's delicious. I am (supposed) to finally sign up for the gym today with a friend. Once I get in a routine and comfortable with being at the gym I can go alone. But one step at a time =) new month, new things. be happy, be healthy. (thats my fb status too)
