Would this work with flax seeds?  Just curious.  I am trying to find an inexpensive way to grind my own.  Whole flax seeds are less expensive than the pre ground.  Not to mention grinding your own should be a fresher alternative.

Yes, it comes with a grinder blade, so it would probably work well.

I tried to order but they were out of stock and the MOM20 discount would not work for back orders???

I use mine every morning to make my shake. First I blend the shake, then add ice cubes to crush into it. I've been very happy with mine, hope you like yours too.

I like mine but I really do not like it for shakes, it puts too much air in. I have used it to puree up some really tasty soups and to grind stuff, etc.

i think Costco has it for that price on sale this week

but I have heard a lot of people saying it breaks quickly , I am sticking with my old Hamilton beach blender and my food proccesor
