Whey protein vs whey protein isolate

Since surgery seven weeks ago I have been using an unflavored whey protein powder from vitamin cottage but it wasn't isolate. Have I been doing this wrong and not getting the correct protein?

Your welcome. Sometimes all this protein info can be overwhelming...

Best to you on your protein research!!

Some people say concentrate is actually better because the isolate process uses heat and that changes the protein. They tell cancer patients that. Not sure I agree but it wasn't in the (otherwise excellent) article so I thought I'd toss that into the mix.
