When did hunger return for you?
Mine returned around month 4 but I pay attention to it now differently then I did pre op. I see the last time I drank something and then the last time I actually ate to make sure if I am really hungry or thirsty. I don't get the hungry feeling often so I pay more attention to it when I do. I keep little snacks in my purse/car/office so that if I am going to be out for a while and need something to hold me over I don't fall off plan. Things like almonds, spiced chick peas, jerky, etc. Mainly I make a point to drink something warm when I feel hungry and then see how I feel after.

I am almost 8 months out and I haven't been taking the same dosage of my PPI that I normally do. With that being said, I am feeling hunger more but I try to ignore it as long as possible because I know it could just be stomach acid roiling around because I'm taking a lower dosage of PPI. You just had surgery, don't worry about it too much right now. You WILL have head hunger but it gets better the farther out you get. Good luck!
