Weekly Goal Met!!!
I am not a big fan of interim goals or as many of you call them "mini goals" but the guy who I have been working out with lately gave me a goal to hit by tomorrow that was to get down to 225 before our trip to Nashville for CMA Music Fest. I hit that goal this morning, despite my roller coaster scale readings lately, I stayed focused on stabilizing my eating pattern (for the most part, had a bad day this past weekend but also ran a 5k in blazing heat so I guess that kept me on course) and following his workout routine. I have not been running as much as I would like or planned but have managed to get them in here and there.
But I met my interim goal. I still have like 45lbs to go even though everyone has been telling me to stop losing weight. They don't see the flab around my gut still when I sit down or the 15 shar pei wrinkles that make up what used to be my ass cheeks that still both contain a significant amount of fat. On the flip side they also don't feel how rock hard my biceps, triceps, and stomach muscles are either. Now if I can just get this protective coating off of them...
