Going on 48 hours post surgery and I feel like I am doing so well. I have discovered my tummy likes water the temp of bath water. Sounds gross, but feels good. If it is too cold, I get crampy.

The HH repair pain is managed well thru my pain meds. The abdominal binder really helps me.

The quantity of my urine output is making the medical team happy

Gas pains seem to be gone.

Ate all my dinner last night - a shot glass of beef broth and a shot glass of jello.

Later, I had a Popsicle. It made me a little crampy, but it tasted soooo good.

I have been sleeping really well. Anxiety around knowing how to take care of myself is greatly reduced.

I am ready to go home later! for anyone in Atlanta, the team at Northside has been great.

Life is good, indeed.
