Need to get back on track

Had a great time in Nashville but did not do so well on the eating front. I stuck to focusing on protein but didn't eat every meal and had to sample some apple pie moonshine which is as sweet as it sounds. I think tomorrow the scale will show a loss but I like my routine and want to get back to it as soon as possible. Plus the baby back ribs I just ate for lunch are reminding me pretty fiercely that I should have behaved better.

I have had it many times. Seems to be a thing when I go to Nashville. It is dangerously good. The really good stuff is super smooth and it tastes like a McDonalds apple pie. The home brew burns and that's when you know you've got the real deal.

We also tend to go off plan a bit when we travel, but get right back to our normal when we get home. One of the best things about the sleeve is that it helps you control the volume of the off plan treats.

Oh Keith!

That's a bummer to read your post!

Believe it or not I was thinking about you this weekend! (Said it before...I'm crazy)

I need to shake up my plan so I went to GNC to look for a new Protein powder...and I know you know A LOT about what is good to get! I thought of you and wished I could have texted you as I walked around to get your opinion! Then when I was at the register...the guy reminded me of you becuase he sort of resembled you in your 5K color run pic! Then for some reason I thought of your "squat thrust" post from a while ago! I must have know you were straying. GET IT TOGETHER MAN!!

Peace

~Deb

My biggest problem wasn't eating too much it was missing meals and not drinking enough water. I did eat one thing this weekend that I am regretting and that was some candied almonds. Other than that (well besides the beer and moonshine) everything else was plan friendly. If my weight is up today, which I doubt, it is because I am retaining water.

As for protein powder check out bodybuilding.com they have the best prices plus all their products are rated for taste and quality. My current favorite protein powder is AST VP2 double rich chocolate. It's got a ton calcium in it too. But I love the taste and its reasonably priced. Some of the best protein powders can only be purchased online they aren't even in stores. I have heard some good things about GNCs brand though. It's got like 30g per scoop if memory serves.

My email address is [email protected] if you ever need to contact me directly.
