Interesting numbers/math........
2-3 ****tails per day, excessive, random snacking on hummus, pretzels, kale chips, pita chips, cow cheese, even carrots, and a sedentary lifestyle after hurting my knee made me gain over 100 pounds back. It actually began with a medication I took for 3 months, before getting into bad habits again and lack of exercise. I lost 115 or so about 15 years ago, kept it off for nearly 5, then things went awry. Maintaining that weight loss was extraordinarily difficult for me - a day looked very sparse in the calorie department. Starbucks in the AM, 1/4 to 1/2 sandwich or a salad at lunch, and broccoli for dinner (Cooked with lots of seasonings and a few sprays of olive oil) I also did 3 spinning classes and 3 weight lifting classes, plus a 2.5 hour Sunday gym session. Once I went back to school full time, that schedule was impossible.
I am sharing this because before that time, I had yo-yo dieted FOREVER with very little success, and I felt it so unfair what I had to do, and not do, in order to maintain a healthy BMI. The VSG needs to be my forever maintenance tool, and I know it will be an extraordinary amount of work, but at least I will have something - a tool - on my side. In short, not everyone works the same way, not by a long shot.
