I am in charge of my weight...NOT YOU!!!!

This is the message I am sending to my body. I am in control, its my decision, YOU LISTEN TO ME!

I woke up yesterday to a nice 3.5lb gain from a weekend starting with the Miami HEAT Finals Game 7, ending with nursing a hangover on Sunday. Anyway long story short, my weight was up a little bit yesterday morning.

I ate super clean yesterday, I lifted weights yesterday afternoon, I ran 3.4 miles last night at my best pace. I went to orange theory class this morning. I got a good nights sleep. Today I was rewarded with an additional 1.1 lb loss in addition to the 3.4 I put on. So I am at my lowest weight ever this morning at 218.9. I haven't weight 31x.x since my freshman year in college back in the stone age.

I am in control. I can undo my bad behavior when, not if, I put my mind to it. I can make good choices just as well and as easily as I make bad choice. I can balance my life and maintain control. One or two bad decisions do not need to lead to a slide. I can master this lifestyle, I can own it. I will own it. I DO OWN IT!

RESPONSIBILITY! ACCOUNTABILITY! RELIABILITY! (I don't know it sounded good in my head)

It's crazy how fast we can put on 2-3 pounds.  My normal carb intake is about 150ish, but every do often I go much higher.  If I string 2-3 days in a row, my weight for sure will jump up 3-4 pounds.  But like you mentioned, a couple days of clean eating and exercise and it corrects quickly.  Congrats on your run!  I would love to pick up jogging again, but the damn extra skin particularly on the back bothers me too much.  (I have a weird allergy to vibration, and for some reason this really impacts it.)

Glad you are back on track, now keep marchig toward your goal!

I wear a wide strap that goes around my entire midsection to keep everything in place. Otherwise it sounds like I have an audience clapping everywhere I run. Its uncomfortable to run without it. If you want to get back into jogging I highly recommend one. I got one at Dicks in the workout area and I found one online that I actually prefer.

This isn't what I have, but I think I might pick on of these up, looks like it would keep your back straight while you run too

Yep, sure did, wow, didn't even see it after you mentioned it. So funny how even 318.9 is low compared to my high at 384, now I am 100 less than that.

Keith, what did you eat/drink which caused you to gain 3.5 pounds between Thursday and Saturday nights?

I'm glad to read that you're back on plan now.

Beer! But also when I drink beer I sort of throw caution to the wind and eat other carbs too. Nothing off the charts but definitely off plan. It was most likely water weight as I sweat my ass off last night and this morning and maybe even a little dehydration this morning. I will be happy if I level out tomorrow at 220/219.

I am never far from my plan. My plan has become so routine that going off plan is like eating healthy was for me before and that makes me very happy. When it is easier for me to eat on plan than off means I have stocked my home properly and my go to foods are healthy choices instead of the otherway around. For me to go off plan, I have to leave the house.

Wow, the beer didn't bother your sleeve?  Or did you let it go flat some first?

Man, you're so close to goal.  You scare me when you go off-plan.  The good news is that you own it when you do.
