I did so many I lost count today. I honestly do not know how many I did but I know it was more than 70.

Same here - it was boot camp night with all the trainers and it seemed like at every station there were squats, planks, jumping jacks and mountain climbers.... nothing but that for an entire hour. Made me regret doing an hour on the elliptical before the boot camp.

Well, I did knee slide practice at the skating rink. Squats will be on the agenda next week. Since I have a couple of vacation days, I figured I better get some extra ice time in. Competition is in 3 1/2 weeks.

Will it look like the 20 year old fitness model in the pictures I post? No probably not. Will it fill out some if that loose skin and provide you with some lean hard muscle to sit on that burns the most calories in your body? Absolutely? Will it look better in jeans? Yep. Will it fill out all the loose skin that used to house a butt that wouldn't fit in an airplane seat? Um...no. Will it make you stronger and faster. Yes. Overall will it look better? For sure.

When I reach back and grab what used to be a hip socket and feel muscle covering it I am positive squats are a good thing.

no.. last time I squatted was when there was no proper toilet for miles around in the middle of some remote and exotic country I was in.. don't recall even.

walk yes, run, jog, elliptical, weights etc.. but no squats for me... they really just don't turn my crank at all.

walking with my beasties sure does though! and jogging with them even more. the WTF? look I get from my golden when I am ahead of him is just priceless.
