Wow no responses---guess there's not allot of us water rats out there!

Water aerobics has been my go to exercise for over 3 years now ever since I was cleared for the pool. Nice thing is that you can set your own intensity going light and building up your strength. I'm usually in the pool 5 days a week. Plus sometimes they will offer Water Zumba, Water Dance, Power Walking, Deep Water classes,  etc.  Just to change things up.

Now I have to say that I have been doing the classes long enough that to increase my exercise I'll start with 1/2 - 1 hour of laps prior to classes (just depends how early I roll out of bed).

Enjoy--it's entertaining and a good workout! Takes the stress off the joints and adds good resistance.

My experience is that the teacher makes a big difference so I'd try to check the class out first.

But I have no experience with the brand of class that 24 Fitness uses. My gym uses a different company's class.

I love my water aerobics class at 24HF! But, I agree that the teacher makes a huge difference. We've had the occasional substitute teacher and it's not the same without my regular teacher. Can you get a guest pass and try it out?

Either way, it's a great way to exercise, especially if you have and pain or mobility issues.
