After EGD

I also meant to ask...

for any of you all who had an EGD...did you suffer from reflux or heartburn or something afterwards? I had mine over a week ago but something weird is going on....

Nope, nothing changed for me. You know, when they did the EGD they took three biopsies and you may be feeling some acid on the biopsy sites. Would be my only guess. And it's just a guess.

Yep. That's the reason for the EGD. They are checking for bacteria...I can't remember the name....but if you had it they would need to treat it before surgery. If he doesn't say anything, you are good to go.

When I had a EGD it wasn't pre op and it wasn't to check for bacteria.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
