I'm so glad you are feeling proud and good about yourself. Everyone has their issues but some people's issues are not noticable to the naked eye. Our issue WAS. You have done a fantastic job and you have EVERY reason to be proud of your accomplishment. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

I've always been inspired by your posts and comments, but none more so than today! I am starting out much like you did, no comorbids, pretty active, able to lose but not keep off weight and I'm 47 yrs young.  I just started the preop diet today and was having a hard time mentally, but reading your post gives me hope.  Thank you!

I'm so glad! The pre op diet is hard, and I even got to eat real food. It's similar to how I eat now, just a bit more. Be kind to yourself, and take it one day at a time. Good luck on your upcoming surgery!

You have done dynamite work. And I second the screw-that-doc cry others have raised.  It is the job of plastic surgeons to look for things to fix. My doctor has cautioned me not to go to a plastic consult until I am secure in what I want and how I feel about my new body, because plastic surgeons can make you want to "fix" things that are not in need of change. I may go see someone about my chicken neck down the line, but I will say up front that i LOVE my crows feet. I am sorry you had to have contact with a toxic weasel. In my eyes, and they eyes of many on these boards, you are a hero and a role model. As my Great Aunt Alice would say, ":Be told."
