I can see how if you don't chew them up they could plug you up. Do any of you use them?

I was told to ditch them because they could get hung on the staple line since we don't produce enough acid to digest them properly.  No more gummies for me. :(

They are not recommended on my program. Very few chewables were actually allowed on my program. Many of the chewables don't offer a complete range of vitamins according to my surgeon and NUT. I've been on pills since 1 week out.

Which chewables were recommended? Just curious

My plan allowed for one of two chewables: Trader Joe's High Potency Multivitamins (about $8 here) or we could also take Centrum Chewables IF we also added 200mg of selenium 3X per week. I just take Centrum Complete. I get it at Costco and it works for me. I've been allowed to take pills from practically the get go. Never had a problem with them.

My Dr recommended nothing but chewable. I'm on Twinlabs Bariatric Support and am tired of them.

Which vitamin pills are you taking that wont hang up? I'm even afraid of taking a Tylenol for fear it'll get hung up.

Ive taken pills early on...no problems. Where would they get hung up? I take PPI, 4 petite calcuim, daily vitamin, and a probiotic. I don't like it, but am to cheap to buy chewables. lol

Gummies are not recommended for us. They do not have everything we need n a multi vitamin. I'm sure if Kelly see this she will explain better. :)

What everyone else failed to mention is that Gummies also come with carbs.  Are you sure you want to waste your daily carb limits on those?

By the way I have been doing well with Trader Joe's High Potency Chewable Vitamins.  They sell for $8 (locally) for a bottle of 90 and I take two per day and therefore get a 45 day supply for a great price.

We are told to avoid gummies on our plan.  I take Flintstones Complete, two per day, and supplement with a selenium tablet daily in addition to my calcium citrate and also B12 at an interval we're still fishing for based on my postop labs.
