This will be a first for me. I intended to start last week and couldn't. I used to love Tae-Bo, wondering if this will compare at all? I want some bruises so I look hardcore! Might work in my favor in my job (I work at an attorney's office). I mean, who doesn't want a tough paralegal?

You'll love it!  I need actual boxing gloves (I have those MMA gloves from the last class I took, but I keep skinning my knuckles).  I managed to get a bruise on my chest yesterday.  How does one do that?  Tough paralegals are the best :)  My childhood best friend is a kickboxing paralegal too.

I'm in Mexicali with my daughter, who was sleeved yesterday, so exercise is a bit limited. So - squats, wall push-ups, some basic stuff with my bands (they pack nice and small) and whatever walking she can manage. When she's napping I'll do stairs - I don't exercise outside when it's 42C. (108F)

I have WLS Support Group Meeting after work so I don't have time to go to the gym.

So today I am going to try something new.

Sooooo, I am going to go do my 45 min of cardio at lunch.    I keep saying I am going to do it but this time I mean it!!!  Only 4.4 lbs to go, so I need to make this happen!!

I find I get a better work out the old fashioned way... mow lawn.  I mowed my lawn this morning in damn near 100% humidity and 90+ heat... I started with the flat parts of my yard and worked in the hills... 70 straight minutes of busting my butt!!!! 

tomorrow... back to the gym!

 

BTW, has anyone walked/hiked parts of the Appalacian trail?  I will be doing that next week and I would love to know what type of terrain I can expect in general
