Today was my best workout at Orange Theory Ever. I did everything the instructor told us to do to the letter and guess what? I burned 769 calories in a 1 hour class! That is a record for me. I have to see if I can top it when I go to do legs later today!

Workout #1 - Orange Theory - Done! 769 Calories Burned

Workout #2 - Legs/Back/Biceps - Adding 2 new exercises to my routine today, Bent over, reverse grip rows and close grip pulldowns, lets see if I can't get some girth on these biceps.

Walking at breaks and lunch at work today.  Still surprised how much it wears me out.  This fatigue is getting old.

It will pass, your body needs to get used to burning fat for fuel. To help through this time increase your fat intake. Do not eat anything fat free, for the next two weeks eat full fat yogurt and cottage cheese, eat some almonds, avocado, salmon, flax oils, etc. A lot of doctors and nutritionists tell us to eat low carb and low fat, that is wrong, you should actually be increasing your healthy fats because your body needs either fat or carbs for energy. So to get your body used to burning fat, including body fat, you need to increase your fats a bit and you the fatigue should go away. Also make sure you are hitting your water numbers, 64oz is an absolute minimum, shoot for 80 to 100+ ounces, it will not only flush the fats you are burning, but will also help to detoxify you. Once or twice a day, squirt the juice of a fresh organic lemon in one of your glasses of water, that will help a lot too.

I can't add any fats to my diet and stay in my calorie range.  I already eat full fat yogurt and cottage cheese, but have cut back on them because it's too many carbs and not enough protein.  As far as water, I get in at least 100 oz a day.  Funny, I even use organic lemons in my iced tea!

Don't worry about the calorie increase if it is from fats. It will not hurt you as long as it is like 100-200 calories. The increased fats will help the scale move and you will feel better. I am also not suggesting making this a permanent thing, just to help get you over the hump. Try it for a couple of days and see how you feel. If it doesn't work you can always go right back to where you are and if it does, well then you know how to control this going forward.

This morning I rode my bicycle 6 miles. I am beginning to enjoy it more. I bought pro cycling shorts for women and they made a world of difference to my comfort level. . Thinking about going to the gym later to do some weight training.
