I took the dog to the dog park this morning, I am watching the first set of games and cooking for the week after that. Today is a rest day although I really need to get a leg workout in I think I am just going to rest it out and try to refine my schedule this coming week.

Had my best 5k (on the treadmill) time yet.  53:00 (down from 54:30).  kept walking til the 60 minute mark so I got 3.5 miles in and burned 572 calories.  Even worked in incline and running a few times at 5mph (up to 60 seconds at a time)

I'm not where I want to be, but I am closer than I was yesterday!

Cardio, lower body, and abs today with my trainer for 451 calories. Some highlights: interval training on elliptical, did abs to the point of muscle exhaustion (does anyone else find it funny when your muscles stop listening to you?).

My trainer was reminiscing at how little I could do when I started, and how much I am doing now. What a great feeling.

These 2x training sessions/week are making a big difference in my strength. Yesterday we went offloading and the ramp to the trailer was wedged. I lifted it - I didn't realize what was going on. My husband said I lifted the trailer up!

A nice brisk 1.6 mile walk to the park along the river and lake, some lunges and squats, and run/walk the way back!  I'm on week 2 of a beginning running program, so 1 minute running, 2 minutes walking repeated 6 times.

Did the breakfast date walk with the hubby.  2.5 miles to the restaurant, a healthy light breakfast, 2.5 miles home.  Didn't even mind that it was raining on the way home- boy have I come a long way!

I tried a new class called the Dailey Method and really liked it.  It focuses on building lean, long muscles similar to what ballet dancers have.  I am intrigued and will probably go back again tomorrow.
