Adderall Post Surgery (Keith, I think you've commented on this before)
It's helped tremendously! It does make me a tad anxious (more that I get frustrated more easily). But I've noticed I've been more hungry. I've gone from 600 calories to 800-1000. Is it the adderall making me more hungry or just the natural progression of the sleeve?
Unfortunately, because of the adderall, I have to take ambien at night to get to bed at a decent hour and get enough rest. I hate taking all this stuff, but it's helping me get through for now.

I take adderall too. Initially post op I was taking 20 mg, then a few weeks ago switch to the extended release 20 mg. Without fail, my appetite is less on days that I take it and consequently my overall calories. I did not have issues with low energy though. Focus, uh yea- distracted by anything shiny for sure without it. I am less anxious with it oddly enough- I know it is more common to have a bit of an increase with anxiety from stimulants.
I think the hunger is sleeve related. You may be experiencing what seems to be hunger from increased acid. I get that every so often- not in a heartburn kind of feeling though. I will take a ppi for a few days and be done with it. I do think my acid production is a bit higher from medication, but I can't tell if it if from the extended release version or the tomoxifen that I take, since they both started around the same time. Nothing terrible, but I plan on monitoring it.
As your sleeve matures, you absolutely will gain capacity and probably hunger. It could just be that also.
