What's Your Workout Today OHers? - Tuesday!
That's great. Just remember as you become more fit from the aqua aerobics to add in some body weight exercises on land too as the water supports a significant portion of your weight and you need to challenge your muscles. The problem if you don't over time is that your resting metabolic rate will start to decline and the calorie deficit that you have built in to your plan now will become what you need for maintenance. So its important to build some lean muscle mass during your journey which is difficult with our diet so do not wait too long.
I will do that, my mate is an old day body builder and thats what he does and I need to hear this so i will add in light wts I can do that on sundays for now and add as I go. I will ask Dan what would be good for sundays en maybe do that on the off days tue thur sun? I will watch for your posts for wts and I will get it going thank thank thanks
Well at least you recognized it and recovered. I have noticed now that I am closer to goal that when I do make poor choices I physically feel it. If I eat too many bad carbs I really feel like crap and I don't mean dumping I mean like a whole day of just feeling like crap. The more weight you loose and the more you pay attention to your body it lets you know when you do something it doesn't like.
My problem is on the weekends that I am not home and that depending on where I'm going and what I'm doing it's sometimes difficult to pack and plan and keep the food cold or be able to heat it up, etc. Also I happened to go out to eat twice over the weekend and I am the type now that deems any bite of food that is not protein or vegetable as a bad choice. Just need to plan better and suck it up when I go out to eat (or not go out to eat at all.)
I did end up working out for 2 hours last night...I did feel weak at times but I stuck it out.
I did 15 minutes on the stair Master (evil torture machine) and climbed 37 flights
then I was supposed to do Total Body Melt, but the teacher had an emergency so no class... I did 47 minutes on the treadmill with speed up to 5.2 (run) and incline up to 15.0, but not at the same time. lol
Bummed about no class today though :(
