6 months post surgery
Hi All,
Today is my 6 month anniversary of my VSG surgery. I cannot believe how much things have changed this year. I lost 146 pounds since starting the weight loss process last January. I have 59 pounds to lose to get to goal, and I'm hoping I can lose most of this in the next 6 months.
I am feeling so much healthier, energetic, mobile and confident. I am so glad I finally decided to have the surgery. Its changed my life.
I want to encourage anyone struggling with obesity to consider this surgery. It really works. You have to make a commitment to the process, and follow your plan, But the surgery makes it possible to do so.
Thank you all for your support, and insights, and encouragement. This forum has been a life-saver for me. It is so good to have a group that understands the struggles of obesity and the challenges of the weight loss process. I wish you all the best in your journeys.

I follow your posts, because they are so encouraging- what a fantastic job you've done! Every time I start to waffle about whether I've made the right decision to have this (I'm scheduled for 12/16), I read something like this and I become certain once again that I NEED to do this.
