I ADORE Scotch Eggs...having had multiple versions in the UK and some made by a friend of mine here who is a Brit. I've been meaning to work on one for "plan." Thanks for this!

That was my first choice..... you just have to start with a soft boiled egg. Cover the egg in meat than refrigerate it before you cook it, this way you have less chance of cooking the yolk more, your just going for a warm up on the yolk.
The thing is, when you put out a recipe/concept out to the masses, it can't be to hard. A soft boiled egg can scare some people off where as many have hard boiled eggs around.
