Wow...Its hard to believe it has already been three years since I had my VSG surgery. What a ride it has been.

I am 53 at 5'6" tall. Currently wearing 4's and 6's in pants and S/M in tops. My highest weight was 320 lbs many years ago and my surgery weight was 270. I hit my goal weight of 160 at about 17 months out. 2012 was the year of plastic surgery for me, 4 surgeries in 7 month. 2013 has been the hardest year so far with too many bad choices and the challenge of keeping the weight off. I still have great restriction (3-4oz dense protein) but am struggling right now with a bit or regain like many that are 2 plus years out but am winning the fight by going back to basics and cutting the carbs.

For all of those pre ops out there, If you feel this surgery is the answer for you, it probably is so do what ever you can do to try and achieve this dream...because it is worth it!

For all of those new post ops out there, it does get easier, so do what ever you can do to try and achieve this dream...because it is worth it!

For all of those further out, lets do what ever it takes to keep this dream alive...because it is worth it!

That you for inspiring me! I've been struggling with the "last" 7 pounds to goal, then we will see, I'm hoping for +5?

Congratulations!

You and my daughter are about the same time frame.  She lost to goal (~160 pound) gained back 20/25 and has settled there but, has to work out.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
