What's Your Workout Today VSGers? - How are you going to make up for yesterday?!
Well I did not make it through yesterday unscathed. I did have a bit if pumpkin pie cheesecake. Today is a rest day as I am very sore. I took two Orange Theory classes on Wednesday and then another one yesterday morning. It hurts to walk and I have pulled something in my left calf, so hopefully I will be in better shape tomorrow. So I am thinking the 1700 calories I burned between Weds morning and Thursday morning compensated for the (ok I'll admit it) two bites of pumpkin pie cheesecake.

I didn't do too terrible, but my hubby & I will be going to the gym later today.
Our daughter is at my parents for the weekend, so we will be going out for dinner tonight (I've already decided what I'm having). Before our dinner date, though, and after the gym we will be driving to Detroit Lakes, MN to check out dogs at the humane society. Our local shelter has only a few to choose from, which are all pit bulls. We want a small or medium dog that's a bit fluffier, and dog that won't raise our home owners insurance. It's good that the local shelter doesn't have much in that there aren't many dogs that don't have homes, so I don't mind going to help out a shelter in a smaller town.
There are four dogs we are going to check out that were listed on their website. My daughter will FREAK OUT if we go pick her up with a dog. She has no idea this is a possibility, and my parents dog, who was 13 years old, just died last month, so it will cheer her up over that sadness. He was such a good dog.
I did an hour Kickboxing class then a half hour circuit training/abs class...
Shopping is on the agenda for this afternoon and tonight, so more walking later on... :)
Decorating this weekend will hopefully work in some stuff too... I have done good an haven't missed a day at the gym in weeks... wanna keep it going.

I did some shopping this morning so I already got in some walking - had to buy some new work clothes, and I couldn't pass up 60% off. And I seem to have skipped from size 20 pants to 16 - woohoo!
I have personal training at 4. Looking forward to it, but sad that it's my second to last session before my foot/leg surgeries.
Nuttin' to make up for - down a bit from yesterday. Today, did 16x 1m on / 1m off intervals. Tomorrow 40 mile ride in 39 degree weather planned. Might be the last outdoor ride until I head down to Tucson for the holiday.
Gotta stay in shape over the winter as we're planning a group event in early Feb - Tour de Palm Springs 100 miler - so that's motivating some hard work for December and January.
