Hi,
My surgeon said most people stay in the hospital 2 nights, but I was released after one night because I was doing so well. Basically, when the pain was in check, and I could drink and hold down fluids so they didn't worry about dehydration, they let me go home. They told me to come back into the doctors office if I had symptoms of dehydration, and they would give me an IV in the office to "tank me up." if I needed it, but I didn't.
