Had to call the doctor today!
I was taking Zofran around the click for the first week. Then the nausea started to ease up enough that I could take it "as needed." It saved me most if the time, but throughout the first month, I would get sick periodically. It usually was around times I took my multivitamin (Bariatric Advantage), but it also related some to foods. Your tummy is healing, sensitive, and everything about it is pretty new. It's still figuring its new self out. It does get better, though! Hang in there!
Try walking, it will help you digest everything. When I was at the hospital and when I came home I would try to walk 15 mins every hour or every 2 hours. I would set a timer on my stove or phone and just walk walk walk around my kitchen/dining/living room. Even now I sometime wake up at night from being too full and I walk for 15mins and then I am able to go back to sleep. For your fluids sip sip walk walk it really makes a difference,
Good luck -Deb
I recommend gas x strips and miralax. Milk of magnesia is serious stuff and you should really only use that if it has been a while since you have gone. Miralax you can take daily, milk of magnesia you can not.
Best of luck, it gets better...PROMISE! I am proof...well me and all the other happy VSG'er's on here =)
Stick with warm tea. That and Unjury chicken soup is what I had all the time. I still drink them!
