On Saturday, a group from work did the 5K Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer at Stevens Pass.  100 lbs ago I would have never been able to do this.  The course had lots of hills and although it was challenging, I had no problem completing it!!  BTW, if you want a good workout, try snowshoeing.  I burned 938 calories!! I was not sore at all and was ready to do more!

Walking through the snowy woods, I was able to reflect on how far I have come and at the end I just wanted to cry. I did this in honor of my mom who was a 2 time surivior and lost the battle last April.

Next challenge..... The Big Climb in March.  I will be climbing 69 flights up the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle.  I can not wait!!

Starting W: 320  Surgery W (9/12/13): 279.8.

Way to go, Cheryl!   That sounds exhausting and I'm impressed you were able to complete it :-)   What a great tribute to your mom
