BCAA are Branch Chain Amino Acids. Most of the major supplement companies make a supplement. My current favorite is Scivation Xtend. I like the Lemon Lime flavor. Its pretty sweet so I tend to add a bit more water than it suggests. BCAA's are the building block for muscle and supplementing them helps to preserve them as well. I have found that my recovery time is very short when I take this stuff. Creatine really just forces your muscles to retain water. They do not actually build anything, but when it expands your muscles like that it increases the area of your muscles. The theory being it helps to stretch the muscle and therefor those little tears that help to build new muscles happen more frequently.
