You should. Proactiv+ worked for me. If it hadn't I would have gone to the dermatologist.

I'd say it's a lot to do with the hormones released from fat cells after surgery. I'm 4 months out and my face is clearer than it's ever been. I have a couple rarely. My emotions were really all over the place for the first couple of months, though. And even now, I have my moments where I overreact. The other day I fussed at a guy at the gym for taking the parking space I had been waiting on. I was a little embarrassed after, but I was so mad I was shaking when it happened.

This makes a lot of sense.  I guess I just didn't think about hormones, since it's been so long since I've had to deal with them ;)  Thanks!

I snapped at my family last night at dinner.. ugh.  I've warned them a lot that I'll be hormonal, and they get it, but I still hate that part of myself.

I've had the same problem! I thought it was just me....glad to hear it's not! I'm 8 weeks post op and now that I think about it, mine started at 2-3 weeks post op.

On my face, no.  I break out about the same now as I did before there.  I always say that it is just wrong that I can still break out like I was 13 even though I am now over 40! :(

On my back and chest...that's another story.  I get bacne like you would not believe... :/

Your body is detoxing! The bad stuff is going to come out somewhere. I had a friend who had a tooth abscess and it was all related to her detoxing.

You are not putting all of the chemical additives that are in our food into your body. You are replacing with  other, healthy liquids. I have seen it occur in a number of people.

Plus your body is in shock. Expect to lose a lot of hair. Don't be frightened! Once your body acclimates to it's "new normal" everything will clear up.
