One week and one day out.  Doing well. One overnight stay, but surgery wasn't till 2:30pm, and I was discharged at 3;30pm the next day.  Minimal discomfort by now.  I am having trouble getting all my fluids in, however I'm working on that.  Still on clear fluids for another week.  I have 't had "buyers remorse" or any regrets.  Losing about a pound a day, my sugars are FINALLY normal range.  I am very proud of myself for doing this FOR myself.  Life is good...

Good job.  Hang in there it gets easier to drink fluids a little each day.

Congratulations! Sounds like you're doing very well. I didn't reach my daily fluid goal until about two-weeks out. You'll get there, give it some time.
