Tummy tamers and control bands

Dear clothing manufactures, I love to wear what you make but could you please stop putting a 2" strip of tummy tamers around the waist band of my six 2XL or XL pants. The only thing it manages to do is sink into my roll accentuating it even further. Unless the wait band stretches from my boobs to my crotch it's not effective at all.
