Collagen is just a different protein source that's good for joints, it's not a laxative.  (Although it seems that some have aloe vera added, and that IS a laxative.  Mine does not, I'm just trying it for joint health.)  This is the collagen I use.  It's totally tasteless and mixes into my shake with zero clumping. 

As for the Miralax and the Benefiber, this is what I've found so far (and I'm still experimenting!).  If I don't take Benefiber, I only have diarrhea.  But, if I don't take Miralax, I don't poop at all.  So... yeah.  Benefiber is soluble fiber, so it firms things up.  Insoluble fiber has a laxative effect.  

Now that I'm eating "normal" food, I want to experiment a bit and work on decreasing the Miralax to see what happens.  This is proving to be a delicate art ;)
