So I am1 week out and today i started having some chest congestion along with sneezing stuffy nose and itchy throat. It could very  well be allergies or a cold, or even from not washing my CPAP machine while in the hospital.

I am hoping its just a cold and not a lung infection or something.

Calling the doc tomorrow, but I wont be able to use my CPAP tonight...cant breathe thru my nose...this stinks!

You are the second post I have seen with this issue.  I wonder if it is the horrible pollen issues this year.

Just had this issue. I did not use my C-Pap, but did put a lot of pillows so I slept elevated to help drain. Then took decongestants that night and was able by day 2 to use the C-Pap. Another thought would be to use a Neti Pot - with distilled water. If you are like me and get Bronchitis I use Cingular during this time. It is a bronchial pill to help the airway. You do have to get from a doctor.
